We’re a family at Royal Food Service and, as such, the health and safety of our customers is our main priority. We take extra precaution with our produce every step of the way. From our drivers, to our fleet, to our facilities, and everything in between; safety and quality are of the utmost importance. Our facilities are regularly inspected by third-party auditors. We regularly test our recall management protocol and choose to work with GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certified farms. Regular training and practice of the recall process keeps this vital link to food safety in top working order so you can be assured you are receiving the most wholesome product available in today’s market.

Royal’s state-of-the-art fleet guarantees consistent optimal delivery
With over 90 trucks dispatched across the Southeast each day, Royal prides itself on our trucks looking as good as our produce. That’s why our fleet has an average lifespan of fewer than three years. Each Royal delivery will arrive via a fully refrigerated truck with temperatures maintained to preserve freshness and quality. The temperature of each truck is monitored by our dispatch team via real-time temperature reporting. GPS satellite tracking allows our team to track vehicle locations ensuring we’re meeting delivery windows. Each truck is also equipped with technology that provides reporting on vehicle performance – making sure we’re being good stewards of the environment and good neighbors on the road.

Our state-of-the-art facility focuses on food integrity and safety. Royal has over 53,000 sq. ft. of independently-zoned computer-monitored cold storage space. Independent zoning ensures optimal temperatures are constantly maintained for each product, producing the ideal climate for each commodity. Royal also houses 2,500 sq. ft. of dry storage space. We are a HACCP certified facility and audited by Primus GFS, an independent third-party auditor. We invite our customers, both present and potential, to tour our facility and experience the Royal difference.
