Royal takes community involvement to heart because, with produce, it’s personal.
Royal understands how important fresh food is to EVERYONE. Rooted in family and driven by relationships, Royal strives to nourish communities by minimizing waste and maximizing consumption – With a waste not, want not approach, Royal regularly donates past prime but still viable produce to feed the hungry and support programs that improve childhood nutrition. Royal establishes long-term relationships within our communities by partnering to create and serve the highest quality food available. Our collaborative partnerships are tailored to serve each establishment to the best of our ability while cultivating people and goals.
Atlanta Community Food Bank
Royal aids Community Food Bank in feeding 755,000 people in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
Royal regularly donates past prime but still viable produce to feed the hungry and support the programs and mission of the Atlanta Community Food Bank: to fight hunger by engaging, educating and empowering our community. While their core work is food distribution, their efforts extend far beyond that. Atlanta Community Food Bank’s mission is lived out every day through seven projects that help engage, educate and empower both people in need and those who want to help. From supporting community gardens to assisting people in finding economic security, the Food Bank covers a wide range of opportunities for people to learn and get involved.
Camp Twin Lakes
Royal donates produce to Camp Twin Lakes to assist in providing healthy and kid-friendly food CHOICES customized to each camper’s dietary needs.
Camp Twin Lakes provides year-round, fully-accessible, and intentionally designed camp programs that teach special needs, seriously ill, and disabled campers to overcome obstacles while creating shared experiences with other children who face similar challenges. After spending every other day of the year adapting to the world around them, for one week, camp adapts to them. City of Refuge
Everyone deserves to thrive. Royal donates produce to City of Refuge weekly. In addition to produce, Royal volunteers and fundraises for City of Refuge’s events and maintains an ongoing partnership.
With 20 years of experience and 20,000 lives transformed, City of Refuge is a leader in the business of social transformation. Located in the middle of one of Atlanta’s most historic and struggling neighborhoods where nearly 40% of the residents live below the Federal Poverty Level, City of Refuge believes the people of 30314 desire and deserve to live abundantly with access to vital resources, networks, and opportunities. In light of this, City of Refuge seeks to partner with individuals and families in crisis to clear a pathway out of poverty and into a thriving community.
The Giving Kitchen
Royal partners with The Giving Kitchen to support those who serve us every day: restaurant workers.
The Giving Kitchen provides financial assistance to some of the most hard-working and vulnerable members of our community: restaurant workers, based on financial need and a defined set of criteria, through Crisis Grants. Crisis Grants cover the cost of living expenses for restaurant workers impacted by illness, injury, death or a natural disaster. A referral program to serve as a connection to social services for restaurant workers called SafetyNet is also provided to those in need.
Mission Hope Section
Royal supports Mission Hope with financial contributions.
Mission Hope is a Christ-centered organization committed to equipping leaders and churches to bring about sustainable transformation in isolated villages.
