Royal Food Service has always strived to nourish our communities.
Doing so now is more important than ever.
The hospitality industry has been hit hard by COVID-19 leaving many of our industry workers jobless or working heavily reduced hours. These sudden changes are difficult to navigate. One thing those affected by COVID-19 shouldn’t have to worry about is where their next meal will come from. Royal believes that everyone should have access to fresh, healthy, delicious produce.
Each week, our sales team meets at our warehouse to pack produce boxes. These boxes are then delivered to various restaurants and distributed to industry workers in need. Additionally, Royal Food Service has provided fresh produce to furloughed industry worker via farmers’ markets, food pantries, and drive thru grocery stations. To date, Royal Food Service has donated 660,000 pounds of produce to those affected by COVID-19.
Royal Food Service will continue to support our community, our customers, and our employees as we all adjust and adapt during these difficult times. We’re in this together.
