Chef's Spotlight

Executive Chef Tim Williams opened Dantanna’s with an amazingly fresh perspective and passion for food that brings people into the restaurant and keeps them coming back.  Chef Tim has over 25 years experience in the restaurant, catering and hotel industry.  He has served as Executive Chef for Proof of the Pudding at Gwinnett Center and oversaw the opening of The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth.  He has worked for Hilton Hotels and Tango Group, where he served as an Executive Chef, General Manager and Corporate Chef of Operations. 

Chef Tim has worked in Colorado, Florida, Boston, New York City and now Atlanta.  He built his reputation on the foundations of his training in authentic Mexican, Italian, German and Classical French cuisines.

It was in Cape Cod that Chef Tim credits his learning to cook and develop an appreciation for the freshest seafood, which he uses extensively at Dantanna’s.  Chef Tim is a master at using bold, seasonal flavors in a variety of textures and influences.  He works with Dantanna’s to maintain a sense of community by using a variety of local ingredients. 

As with every restaurant, visual presentation is important, but flavor profiles remain Chef Tim’s primary focus at Dantanna’s.  He is adamant on showing the product in a stunning way, not masking the freshest available products, but letting the flavor keep the center of attention. 

Chef Tim has used Royal for years and that is why it was his only choice when he went to work for Dantanna’s.  “Royal provides us with the best looking, freshest produce and helps us to protect our bottom line.”   He also likes that the sales, customer service and transportation departments go above and beyond to make customers happy.
